5 Things That Help Me on Bad Pain Days

I am not being sponsored by any of the following products. Also, I am not a medical professional. If you are experiencing extreme pain, you should see a doctor. These are reviews of products that have helped me personally. They may or may not be helpful to you. I am not responsible for changes in price or availability.

As a chronic pain patient, I have searched for and tried a lot of different remedies for relief.

This is a short list of things that have helped me make it through my worst pain days. Maybe you’ll find something that can help you or a loved one who deals with pain on a regular basis.

1. Thera-cane Massager

This message cane is a life saver. My back is constantly riddled with knots and tight muscles. This pressure point messager gives me the ability to work out knots and tension in my own back without growing a third arm. Amazon reviews rate it at a 4.7 out of 5 stars.

It’s available here for $29.95 USD.

2. Heat Therapy Pack

This picture makes me laugh. Gotta love stock photos. But for real, If you haven’t invested in a good heat therapy pack, you’re missing out. This one is packed with rice, which I love. The weight combined with heat helps relieve pain in my neck, back and stomach. I’m sure there are better options, but this I’ll link to the one I own. It’s good quality, soft, and comfortable. It received a 4.2 out of 5 star rating on amazon.

You can purchase it here for $18.99 USD.

3. Comfortable Pants

Finding comfortable clothes can be really hard for me. Especially pants. Tight waistbands that dig into my sensitive stomach were hard to abolish unless I wanted to wear clothes that were 10 times too big. Not to mention that my weight fluctuates so much that clothes never fit me right for long. These travel pants from walmart are AMAZING. They have a wide, adjustable waistband that’s comfortable, but still stays put. They are looser than traditional leggings and biggest bonus: they have pockets! The quality isn’t top notch, but it is good enough considering the steal deal price.

Order them here for $16.94 USD.

4. Deep Relief Essential Oil

I don’t use essential oils daily, but this roll-on is something I always make sure I have handy. It has an icey-hot kind of effect, but it’s all natural and 100% therapeutic grade oil. It relaxes my muscles and smells really good, unlike a lot of YL products. I use it on my neck and back, and also to relieve headaches.

Currently, the roll-on is out of stock. Normally, the retail cost would be $36.18 USD here.

5. Bedrest Pillow

Seriously, if you haven’t invested in a pilliow like this, you need to. My pain keeps me bedridden a lot, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have work to do. Whether I’m doing homework or writing, this pillow literally has my back. The quality of mine is definitely sub-par, and I would say it would be worth the money to buy one slightly nicer than this.

If you’re on a budget, you can get the one pictured here for $16.87 USD.

If this list wasn’t helpful to you, consider passing it along to someone you know who could benefit from it. If you have any products that you recommend or would like me to review, please let me know in the comments!
