This post is not gonna be fancy or long. I just wanted to encourage you with the Word of God, as I have been encouraged recently.
Life is tough.
Life can mean crying my make-up off three times in one day.
Life can mean being in pain.
Life might not go the way I expect.
Sometimes life is straight-up cruel.
But I serve a God who does not abandon me when I go through trials.
I serve a God of refuge; A God who leads.
My Father does not stand to the side, waiting for me to pass through fire.
He leads me.
My Father does not leave me to fight alone against my enemies.
He protects me.
1 God, hear my cry;
pay attention to my prayer.
2 I call to You from the ends of the earth
when my heart is without strength.
Lead me to a rock that is high above me,
3 for You have been a refuge for me,
a strong tower in the face of the enemy.
4 I will live in Your tent forever
and take refuge under the shelter of Your wings.
